In the summer of '96 there was a EuroDemo against the Bastards of Legislation. Needless to say we had to go. Only Andy Bell and me decided to take the scenic route via Switzerland. This enabled us to drop in and see Simone and Chrissie, who we had met on Arran at easter, for a free feed or two and a chance to hassle the mountain twisties.
If you don't know what a EuroDemo is then have a look at the MAG web site or the EuroDemo info page. Basically it's several thousand bike riding through a major European city as a show of strength for MAG/FEM.
Anyway here are some pictures. The demo itself went through Brussels, the rally was nearby at Antwerp.
These are Swiss Alpine Twisties -and they are huge fun
Our intrepid heroes prepare to head north to the Demo.

Andy checks of pulse to make sure he aint died and gone to heaven.
Chrissie and me leaving the rally site for the run.
Simone and Andy on the run.
Simone and Andy getting stuffed up the inside by a well riden GSXF
As you can see helmets become optional on the demo run itself.
Right so get saving yer money. Next ones in Bonn, Germany, Saturday 29th August. That means the party should start on Friday somewhere. And if you've got the time The Ring aint too far away. See yer there.
