Details : 124cc, 1cyl, 4 stroke. Put out a tremendous 11hp at the back wheel and did 110mpg.

My first legally ridden bike, I loved it so. It was a sparkling light metallic blue with a larger than average Honda 'wings' sticker on either side of the tank. My parent's bought for me for my 17th birthday from a dealers in Darlington for 995 with a 3 month warranty. A 'H' reg if I remember rightly. I passed my CBT, insured myself and then whizzed out onto the road.
For 3 months though, the damn thing constantly broke down and spent more time in the dealer's back garage getting fixed under warranty than it did on the road. Finally though it was in good nick. I rode it constantly, a small and pathetic heap it may be, but it don't take much to get you hooked on biking believe me. In the six months I had it (mainly the last three months though, due to constant shitness) I rode 13,500 miles, 750 in one day averaging at about 55mph (the bikes real limit...it wouldn't comfortably do 60mph) and got off walking like Steptoe.
I only dropped it once, misjudged a wet corner and downed it a 60mph (engine screaming!!!) the whole right side of the bike was a complete mess and so were cheap my leather jeans. However, the L plates sticking off the right side of the bike remained intact. Bastards.
Jamie was an excellent instructor and got me through my test safe and sound, and I part exchanged it for my new bike a week after that.
